Liquid lay-down Maxfoam™
Maxfoam™ machines from Laader Berg® can additionally be equipped for conventional liquid lay-down foaming with hanging mixer, traverse system and extra fall-plate sections.
Liquid lay-down is the ability to eliminate "pinholes" from the foam block by introducing the chemical mix to the fall-plate through an overhead traverse.
The lay-down nozzle is connected to the liquid lay-down traverse and positioned above the first section of the fall-plate.
The chemical mix is poured onto the bottom paper in a repeated sideways movement across the foaming section. The speed of the lay-down traverse can be adjusted and optimized in accordance with your own unique formulation and output.
This multi-process Maxfoam™ machine provides the most cost efficient and flexible means of foam production due to its optimal use of chemicals and low operating cost which combine with the ability to extend its functionality to include liquid lay-down with both low and high pressure TDI.
